If the account opening documents are not signed in the presence of our staff, the execution of the account opening form and witnessing of relevant identity documents shall be verified by other licensed persons or registered persons, their associated persons, Justices of the Peace, or professionals including bank branch managers, practising accountants, solicitors or notaries public. Verification services recognised under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), such as those provided by Hongkong Post, are also acceptable.
*The witness shall affix the following on the application form and certified copies:
i) Sign and date the documents (state their full name in block letters and clearly indicate the position/profession);
ii) Certify that the copies are true copies of the original documents or use equivalent wording.
Alternatively, in the absence of an authorised witness’s signature, clients may send all completed forms together with a personal cheque or bank transfer receipt to our company.
Cheque Requirements
· obtain and encash a cheque to "Changjiang Securities Brokerage (HK) Limited Brokerage (Hong Kong) Limited"
(amount not less than HK$10,000 and bearing the client's name as shown in his identity document) issued by the new client and drawn on the client's account with a licensed bank in Hong Kong;
· the signature on the cheque issued by the client and the signature on the client agreement must be the same;
· the client is informed (in the client agreement or by way of a notice) of this account opening procedure and the conditions imposed, in particular the condition that the new account will not be activated until the cheque is cleared.
Bank Transfer Requirements
· Remitted from your personal account with a licensed bank in Hong Kong;
· Successfully transfer an initial deposit of not less than HK$10,000.
